About us.

dot studio is a local brand, established in 2021 in Jakarta. We aim to provide a creative platform where everything we care about meets; people, the environment, heritage, and creativity.

We try our best to make products that reflect values we hold dear. Patterns applied using batik technique to preserve Indonesia's intangible heritage. Colors dyed with natural ingredients to protect our Earth. Working with local craftsmen to create beautiful batik fabrics to help our economy grow. Batik fabric, then, turned into final products by a skilled seamstress from the deaf community.

Our products started with multifunctional items that substitute plastic, paper, and tissue. Now, we have expanded our products to clothes and bags as well. The fabric leftovers from bigger products are turned into accessories, such as wallets, earrings, and keychains.

 

For offline sales, dot studio is available at "Atelier 17 - Natural Dye," a family shop of sociopreneur businesses at Darmawangsa Square. We also join local bazaars that are held all around Jakarta. Through this activity, we are able to meet, not only with our customers face-to-face, but with other local brand heroes as well.
